How to Have the Best Wine Tasting Experience

Do

  • Try something new! You'll never know what you are missing out on. We've been surprised plenty of times.

  • Spit or dump your wine. We understand that you'll be going several wineries on your trip, get the most of your experience and stay sober!

  • Stay hydrated! Drink water between tastes; you'll be able to taste more & it's the perfect palate cleanser.

  • Bring along a cooler to keep it nice and cool, since you'll be buying wine!

  • Always hold your glass by the stem, it keeps the wine at the right temperature.

Don’t

  • Wear lipstick, perfume, or cologne, smoking or chewing gum

  • Need to be an expert, we can teach you everything you need to know, just ask. We'll even show you how to taste wine like the experts. We love questions and enjoy sharing our love of wine with you.

  • Rinse your glass in between wines. If there is sediment we will 'rinse' your glass with a bit of the next wine. Water actually changes the taste more than a little bit of wine.

  • Forget to eat! Bring some snacks to have between wineries. You'll thank yourself at the end of the day.
