Just because you are visiting an Arizona winery doesn’t mean you are drinking Arizona wine. Many wineries buy bulk wine or grapes from other states and bottle it under their label.
Common label terms: -Estate Bottled: All of the grapes were grown on land that is owned or controlled by the winery; the grapes were crushed, fermented, aged and bottled by the winery. -Produced or Made by: At least 75% of the wine was fermented by the winery. -Cellared, Vinted, or Prepared: The winery subjected the wine to cellar treatment. (The winery could have purchased bulk wine and placed it into barrels temporarily , before bottling.)
